Matthews Automation Solutions to Highlight Dynamic Fulfillment System Solutions

Proven and emerging technologies from Holjeron, Lightning Pick and Pyramid for Energizing the Live Supply Chain on display at ProMat.

WILSONVILLE, OR (March 9, 2017) — Matthews Automation Solutions and its brands Holjeron, Lightning Pick and Pyramid will showcase dynamic fulfillment system solutions engineered to energize the live supply chain at MHI-sponsored ProMat 2017 in Booth S1023a in McCormick Place’s South Hall, April 4-7, 2017.

HOLJERON | holjeron.com
Holjeron will debut the scalable, flexible ZoneLinkTC™ controller for motorized roller conveyors. It controls Holjeron’s SmartRoller® and Microroller® brands of motor-driven rollers (MDR), as well as Interroll’s 6- and 8-pole conveyor motors. Capable of operating in a standalone mode—no supervisory programmable logic controller (PLC) or computer required—the controller enables traditional zero-pressure accumulation (ZPA) operation, train/release or configurable zone parameters with minimal human intervention. Its smart capabilities accommodate multiple device connections and control directly on the device, making it easier and faster to commission a new conveyor, or to modify an existing line.

LIGHTNING PICK | lightningpick.com
Lightning Pick will showcase two new innovations that further increase speed, accuracy and throughput when sorting batches of picked items into its Put Walls. Each destination cubby in dual-sided, light-directed LP Put Wall systems can now be specified with LED lighting and/or a photo-eye sensor for touchless task confirmation. The additional cubby interior lighting connects to the same hardware platform as the light-directed modules to help order fulfillment operators sort faster and enhance the area’s overall brightness. The touchless task confirmation feature eliminates the need to touch a button to confirm item placement in a destination cubby, allowing operators to sort more products in the same amount of time.

PYRAMID | pyramidcontrols.com
Pyramid will highlight the capabilities of its Continuous Intelligent Operations (CIO) software and control solutions, ideal for the automation synchronization needs of today’s omni-channel and e-commerce fulfillment centers. CIO seamlessly manages automated processes to generate optimized order fulfillment by synergizing complex, previously disparate automated systems end-to-end. It also provides managers with visually accessible dashboards that convey business intelligence metrics. CIO’s capabilities will be showcased on a live demo automated order finishing line that includes motor-driven roller (MDR) conveyor and print-and-apply labeling, as well as in installation videos featuring conveyor merges, loop sorters and automatic document insertion.
