In its December 6, 2016 issue Supply Chain World featured an in-depth interview with Matthews Automation Solutions’ president Paul Jensen by writer Alan Dorich. The two discuss the company’s strategies to perpetually bring new technological advances to the marketplace, with a particular emphasis on omni-channel retailers and e-commerce operations.
Among the highlights of the feature story, Jensen explains that Matthews Automation Solutions anticipates the e-commerce sector to grow from 10 to 20 percent of the total retail market in the near-term.
A combination of innovative product development and openness to making acquisitions that align with the organization’s vision of the future puts the company “at the heart of a growing segment,” he adds.
“We’ve had significant growth since the recession and it’s coming from remaining committed to being best-in-class and finding quality solutions,” Jensen concludes. “It feels good to look back at where we’ve come over the last eight years.”
