MPERIA Universal Print Platform
The MPERIA universal print controller and graphical user interface (GUI) enables complete, single-source management of enterprise marking and coding operations across different printing technologies, brands and global production line locations. Scalable, the controller networks into new or existing primary, secondary and tertiary marking and coding production lines. It manages multiple printers manufactured by Matthews and other OEMs from a single interface, including: high-resolution piezo inkjet, high-resolution thermal inkjet and drop-on-demand valve jet with native code, and continuous inkjet and laser marking technologies (with the addition of a plug-in).
VIAjet™ L-Series Thermal Inkjet Printer
With a variety of ink types and colors available, the VIAjet L-Series thermal inkjet printer is a clean, fast, and cost-effective alternative to thermal transfer and adhesive labels. It is ideal for marking and coding variable data in both primary packaging and industrial applications, imprinting onto paper, chipboard, corrugated, and plastics. Leveraging the same cartridge technology found in desktop printers, the L-Series provides high native print resolution (600 x 600 dots per inch) at speeds up to 1,200 feet per minute (366 meters per minute)—nearly twice as fast as competitive thermal inkjet systems. Print heads are available in 0.5-, 1- or 2-inch (12.7-, 25.4-, or 50.8-millimeter) print heights.
VIAjet T-Series High-Resolution Piezo Inkjet Printer
Providing a cost-effective alternative to adhesive labels and pre-printed corrugated cartons used in secondary packaging for savings up to 10 times less, the VIAjet T-Series high-resolution Piezo inkjet printer delivers on-demand branding to industrial packaging lines. T-Series print heads create high-resolution barcodes and images as tall as 4 inches (25.4 millimeters). Grouping multiple print heads together enables the marking of larger images, logos and multiple lines of text. Ideal for consumer packaged goods (CPG) companies, and web-based industrial customers, the T-Series comes in two print head models: The T100 for side/vertical printing and the T100S for down/right-angle printing.
VIAjet V-Series High-Resolution Drop-on-Demand (DOD) Inkjet Printer
Rugged and durable, the VIAjet V-Series drop-on-demand (DOD) large character marking system features reliable valve technology engineered for challenging industrial and packing applications. Intended for tertiary marking and coding applications, the VIAjet V-Series marks on both porous and non-porous substrates, including metal, paper and pulp, wood, concrete, and plastic. For high-speed production, the V-Series print heads can mark at rates up to 800 feet per minute (244 meters per minute). Additionally, the durable V-Series’ print heads are rated for a long lifespan of 6 billion firings apiece.
eMARK Eco Laser Coding System
Affordably priced for entry-level marking applications and operations seeking to replace continuous inkjet systems, the new eMark Eco laser coding system is engineered for simple coding on primary packaging materials, including cardboard boxes, paper and thermal labels. Because it requires no ink or consumables to mark items, and is maintenance-free, the eMark Eco offers a lower total cost ownership than other imprinting technologies. Clean and environmentally friendly, the unit produces vector-quality, permanent coding of alphanumeric text, date and time codes, serial numbers, barcodes and 2D codes with a 10-watt power class, air-cooled CO2 laser.
eSolarMark+ CO2 Laser Coding System
Recently released, the eSolarMark+ CO2 laser coding system has been upgraded with new control software and diagnostic functions, as well as a more user friendly, 15-inch touchscreen. It is ideal for high-speed coding of variable data onto cardboard, coated metals, glass, leather, paper, plastics and wood in a variety of primary packaging applications. The eSolarMark+ CO2 requires no ink or consumables for a lower total cost ownership. It produces vector-quality, permanent coding of text, date and time codes, serial numbers, barcodes and 2D codes, and graphics.
